Alissa Nutting’s new novel, Made for Love, will be published by Ecco/HarperCollins on July 4, 2017. Her first novel, Tampa, was published by Ecco in 2013. She is also the author of short story collection Unclean Jobs for Women and Girls. Her writing has appeared in venues such as Tin House, Fence, BOMB, Elle, The New York Times, and O: The Oprah Magazine. She holds an MFA from the University of Alabama, and a PhD from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She is currently at work on two television pilots, and is an assistant professor of English at Grinnell College. She lives in Iowa with her partner, novelist Dean Bakopoulos, and their blended family of three children.
