Check out my thoughts on reading for Shome Dasgupta’s column (you can also read the ‘on reading’ thoughts of many other beloved authors, such as Shane Jones, Steve Almond, Kate Bernheimer, Joyelle McSweeney, Ben Mirov, etc. etc.–this is a fabulous project).

Also check out Shome’s chapbook I Am Here and You Are Gone (Outside Writer’s Press, 2010), which I am eagerly awaiting in the mail. If a title alone can break my heart, it usually bodes very well for what’s inside.

I want the typewriter-shaped waffle iron.
